Artist statement:
My work is inspired by nature and humanity and
'Too Close' is an ongoing and never ending work. The impossibility of fully
understand meanings, connections, and consequences
in our relationship.
Glass is a fascinating material that can be shaped in many directions,
from the fragile, beautiful, and alluring
to the rough, dangerous, and impenetrable. I am driven by its possibilities and challenges.
I explore ideas and techniques and I find beauty in the accidental and imperfect.
I hope to create works that invite reflection.
